I want to outline that not only after 44 days Karabakh war,but also before the war we could observe anti-Russian sentiment in Armenian society.
By the way,prior to coming into power,even as a former journalist,Nikol Pashinyan did have always anti-Russian sentiment and mindset.Because Nikol Pashinyan was aware of Russia´s influence over Armenian political elites and society.
According to Nikol Pashinyan,pro-Western politics could have been the best alternative for Armenia.In addition,Pashinyan has always understood that lack of natural resources and economic potential,it is too difficult to be freed from Russia.Because of this reality,Pashinyan needed time and of course reliable partners.

Actually,Armenia´s Prime Minister has found such kind of friends and partners in Europe.Right now Armenian government is being supported by EU and the U.S.That is why,Armenia is looking for security guarantee from the West and in order to get this Pashinyan´s political team,his Civil Contract Party try their best.
So,there is a disagreement in Pashinyan´s party on anti-Russian sentiment.This is deep but silent disagreement within Civil Contract Party.Party elite and high-ranking officials near Pashinyan see the risks on this matter.

Recently,Armenian media has published about anti-Russian sentiment in Armenian society and government.In conversation with each other some prominent party members criticizes Pashinyan and his anti-Russian team members like Ararat Mirzoyan,Suren Papikyan,Armen Grigoryan and MPs representing ruling party.
Armenian media claims that Prime Minister has instructed to actively put forward an anti-Russian argument and frighten the Armenian society that the past government leaders want to return to power with the help of Russia.It is absolutely clear that Pashinyan means former presidents Robert Kocharyan and Serj Sarkisyan.

Nikol Pashinyan´s goal is that Armenian society should be informed that Russia wants to topple him from power and intends to bring former “robbers”to power.Nikol Pashinyan and his entourage in conversation with American and European politicians explain that they need support,as otherwise they will have a new government that it will lead the country to the Russian political orbit.Due to this threat,either EU or the U.S. must help to eradicate this probability.
Pasinyan´s authority convinces the Western partners that without their help,new pro-Russian forces will likely come to power.And if this happens,Russia controls all South Caucasus.

In conclusion.by deepening anti-Russian sentiment,Nikol Pashinyan aims to integrate Armenia to the West.Armenian Prime Minister does not imagine Armenia´s future with Russian Federation.And Pashinyan intends to flourish bilateral relations wit Azerbaijan and Turkiye.If Pashinyan manages this,it will be easy to move away from Russia´s influence.
I would like to propose a format among Azerbaijan,Turkiye and Armania.It would be the best choice for them,for regional peace and prosperity.But the first thing is intention than comes politial determination.
