Though Armenia was invited by Iran to take a part in a 3+3 format meeting,Nikol Pashinyan government has not responded to this offer.As I wrote yesterday,3+3 platform could have been so suitable format to solve regional problems including South Caucasus.This format which was proposed by Azerbaijan and Turkiye was also received by Russia and Iran.
However,Georgian side was disagree with this before but right now Irakli Garibashvili´s government is keen on this format.According to me,both Azerbaijan and Turkiye have got a huge influence on Tbilisi by accepting this proposal.Turkish president Receb Tayyib Erdogan´s impression on this issue is that this platform will be able to promote peace and security in the South Caucasus.Of course,the realization of Zangezur corridor is the main milestone of 3+3 format.
On the other hand,as I have understood,3+3 format as a geoeconomic project can be an effective platform at least to discuss key problems in the South Caucasus.

As I mentioned above,Armenia was also invited to participate in the 3+3 format by Tehran.Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian had said during the meeting with Armenian Security Council Armen Grigoryan that the 3+3 platform is an effective format for solving regional problems.As for Baku,president of Azerbailjan Ilham Aliyev has expressed his wish a few times to focus on this platform.So,such kind of platform was proposed by aliyev and Erdogan.It means that Azerbaijan thereby is on of the author of aforementioned idea.
In addition to Azerbaijan´s position,Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also had stated that Yerevan was ready for meetings in this format.In fact,one meeting in this format wil not be able to solve all regional problems.The 3+3 platform can be firstly discussion club among regional states.At present the mutual relations between Russia-Armenia and Russia-Georgia is worse.Particularly,after second Karabakh war the relations between Moscow and Yerevan is getting worse.From this point of view,Armenia´s Pashinyan is skeptical about Russia.Nikol Pashinyan tries his best to save Armenia Russia´s sphere of influence.
Nevertheless,Pashinyan is too careful and calculates all risks.
Additionally,without signing final peace agreement with Azerbaijan,Armenia doesn´t want to take any risk with regional actors including its formal ally Russia.Armenian government keeps its eyes skinned with Iran.In accordance with this reality,Armenia needs to sign peace accord with Azerbaijan and to normalize its relations with Turkiye as well.
In conclusion,I assume that Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan will participate in the 3+3 platform meeting in a near future held in the capital of Iran.
